Christmas Unwrapped

Christmas each year is a key time for every brand especially those in the food industry. With more people out shopping and online, Burger King wanted to drive people in to their stores and once there promote their deals within the BK app.

We were asked to create a brand platform to be used for all work within the Christmas Campaigns. I was asked to lead the design and motion development, creating the brand assets and toolkit to be rolled out by partners, as well as creating bespoke DOOH executions to be shown in key areas around the UK.

Utilising the existing assets in the Burger King brand I developed a system derived from a brand truth shared between the brand and a traditional UK Christmas: Unwrapping gifts. Offering gifts and limited time offers to customers, the look and feel 'Unwrapped' this concept by utilising paper tearing & stickers.
